INTRODUCTION: According to the data by World Health Organization, broad and often insufficiently substantiated prescription of antibiotics, including for prophylactic purposes, has led growth antibiotic-resistant microflora, which is a dangerous intractable problem modern medicine. Despite undoubted benefits antibiotics in management wound infection endometritis after cesarean section, routine administration antibacterial drugs can not only carry risk resistant nosocomial but also have doubtful effects on health newborn. PURPOSE OF THE STUDY: The purpose study was justify possibility carrying out elective section operations without antibiotic prophylaxis. MATERIALS AND METHODS: An analysis 333 cases carried obstetric department period from 2017 2019 performed. Routine prophylaxis before surgery prescribed 118 healthy patients with an uncomplicated history smooth course gestational process. remaining 215 women received single intravenous injection 1 g cefazolin sodium intraoperatively, extraction fetus. A comparative clinical groups according following criteria: vaginal microbiocenosis surgical delivery, duration, features operation, blood count days 5 post-operative period, condition postoperative sutures, presence discharge wound, signs infectious complications uterus or other organs, uterine involution rate, duration hospital stay surgery, follow-up month maternity ward. obtained were subjected statistical processing.
